Absolutely! Please just remember to credit me as well as the original artist.

Can I use your cover for my own video?

Again, totally fine-- please just credit me and the original artist. Everything's fine on my end, but the original artist may have different rules, so please check their own ruleset.

For vocals: Synthesizer V (occasionally UTAU as well)

Can you release your covers on Spotify?

I'd love to, but covers are in a limbo-like area for copyright, and quite frankly, I don't have the money to license instrumentals or get them re-done and "OK" to post. Even the "OK" ones can be taken down on a whim, so I just don't feel it's worth it.I tried looking into it and discussing with a friend who's released their own music on streaming platforms, and things just get way too dicey with covers. I'd rather not have the chance (no matter how small) of getting DMCA'd lol

Why do you have a Patreon?

To post WIPs more easily, as well as share any files. It's convienent for me, basically lol. There are paid tiers, but those are just if you feel inclined to support me monetarily. Completely fine if you don't! It's free to join.

Why Teto specifically?

I've always loved her voicebank, and I'm a sucker for an underdog character. Also, my favorite color is pink, so it's a win-win for me in character design haha.[Insert: Marge Simpson "I just think they're neat." meme]

Why the username "Moonlit_Star"?

It was my first username I ever used online, and I've grown attached to it over the years. I've had online friends that only know me as "Moon" for as long as I can remember.What does it mean? I have no idea. Due to life circumstances (shit happens lol) I don't remember a lot of my childhood, so I couldn't tell you where I got it from. Your guess is as good as mine lol.

Can you speak Japanese?

Sorta! I'm still learning. A lot of my translations I scour dictionairies for, and try to understand different meanings of Kanji and their context in the song. I look to Japanese comments and viewers as well! Sometimes I have to take a gamble, and it won't match up with the original meaning of the lyrics, but I try my best. Sometimes you just have to figure out the vibe and make up stuff as you go. Some songs don't have a deeper meaning and are just gibberish-- and that goes for literally every language in the world.
